There are no prerequisites for membership, and you do not need to be running work in the field of care equality already.
You can start by filling in a short form in which you share what you expect from the network and the contact person we will communicate with during the process.
Fill in the application formAfter your application we contact you and arrange a meeting, online or in person. At the meeting we explain the network's purpose, the tools it offers and the process in detail, and answer your questions. By the end of the meeting an initial framework emerges for the area in which your company wants to progress, along with the timeline for the next step.
The company representative and the network project manager begin working together. In this work, the area in which the company wants to progress over the course of a year and feels ready for is identified, and a project cycle specific to that area is designed together.
The resulting statement of intent clarifies the points at which the network will support your company and makes progress measurable. Its purpose is not to produce a list of commitments, but to ensure that both sides understand the same thing.
Once both sides agree on the statement of intent, the network sends the membership invitation and membership begins. The project cycle defined in the framework starts to run and your company takes part in all the work the network offers. Your joining the network is shared with employees and the public by mutual agreement.
The flow below shows how a project cycle defined in the statement of intent might work. The content and timeline take shape according to the focus area you choose and your company's pace of participation.
The Network does not do the work on behalf of the company; rather, it accompanies and supports the company’s team throughout the process. The contribution expected from the company to make its membership effective is limited and clearly defined from the outset.
