What it brings your company

Policies are built not from ready-made templates but according to the priorities your own data points to.
Capacity building
In-house awareness and managerial capacity are strengthened through training, workshops and focus group work.
Academic advisory support
The whole process is carried out under university leadership, built on the methodology of a national-scale study.

MEMBERSHIP STEPS

The process is completed in four steps

There are no prerequisites for membership, and you do not need to be running work in the field of care equality already.

STEP 1
Filling in the Application Form

You can start by filling in a short form in which you share what you expect from the network and the contact person we will communicate with during the process.

Fill in the application form
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Your application reaches the network team and you will receive a response within five business days.
STEP 2
Introductory Meeting

After your application we contact you and arrange a meeting, online or in person. At the meeting we explain the network's purpose, the tools it offers and the process in detail, and answer your questions. By the end of the meeting an initial framework emerges for the area in which your company wants to progress, along with the timeline for the next step.

STEP 3
Planning the Statement of Intent

The company representative and the network project manager begin working together. In this work, the area in which the company wants to progress over the course of a year and feels ready for is identified, and a project cycle specific to that area is designed together.

The resulting statement of intent clarifies the points at which the network will support your company and makes progress measurable. Its purpose is not to produce a list of commitments, but to ensure that both sides understand the same thing.

01What does it include?
The theme to be worked on over the course of a year, the project cycle tied to that theme, which support the network will provide at which stage, and the indicators by which progress will be tracked. The framework is a plain document of a few pages.
02How is it set up?
Not through a ready-made template, but through work carried out jointly by the company representative and the network project manager. The company's current situation, priorities and capacity are discussed, and the framework is written accordingly. The text is finalised once both sides find it suitable.
03Is it binding?
No, it is not binding, but action is expected to be taken in accordance with the mutually agreed-upon statement of intent. Completing the projects set out in the framework is not compulsory and carries no sanction. The framework exists to clarify the support the network will provide; the decision to act on that intent rests with the company.
04Is it renewed every year?
A statement of intent must be set up for the first membership; on renewal it is not compulsory. In years when you do not set up a new framework, you continue to be a member of the network, to attend events and to learn from other companies' shared experience.
STEP 4
The Start of Membership

Once both sides agree on the statement of intent, the network sends the membership invitation and membership begins. The project cycle defined in the framework starts to run and your company takes part in all the work the network offers. Your joining the network is shared with employees and the public by mutual agreement.

MEMBERSHIP
Joining the network is free of charge. Services offered within the network, such as advisory support and core training, are also provided to members free of charge.
RENEWAL
At the end of the project cycle, progress is evaluated mutually and membership is renewed for a new period. Setting up a new statement of intent is not compulsory on renewal.

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM THE COMPANY

What does the process ask of the company?

The Network does not do the work on behalf of the company; rather, it accompanies and supports the company’s team throughout the process. The contribution expected from the company to make its membership effective is limited and clearly defined from the outset.

One contact person
The contact person who follows the process within the company and manages communication with the network. Stated in the application form.
A small project team
A small team including a few people from the relevant units carries the process within the company.
Internal communication
Communicating measurement, training and workshop announcements to employees; supporting participation within the company.
Regular meeting time
Short monthly review meetings with the network project manager; a calendar planned in advance for training and workshops.
FREQUENTLY ASKED

What people ask before deciding

Is membership paid?
Joining the network is free of charge. Services offered within the network, such as advisory support and core training, are also provided to members free of charge. Companies among the network's first members benefit from priority and free access to some support and tools that may be charged for in the future.
Are there prerequisites?
No. You do not need to be running work in the field of care equality already, or to be of a particular size.
Can companies below a certain number of employees join?
Yes. There is no size limit; the process is scaled according to the company's size and capacity.
How much time does the process ask of the company?
One contact person, a small team of a few people from the relevant units and regular short meetings with the network project manager are enough. Training and workshops are tied to a calendar planned in advance.
Is implementing the CML Kit compulsory?
No. The CML Kit begins on request; whether it is included in the statement of intent is decided together.
How is employee data protected?
Measurement is based on voluntary participation and is carried out through anonymous online surveys. Individual responses do not appear in the reports presented to the company.
Who owns the data and outputs produced in the process?
Company-specific reports and policy outputs belong to the company. The network does not share them without the company's permission, and the scope of good practice sharing is decided together. Where there is mutual consent, data may be anonymised and used as a basis for academic research.
Is membership announced publicly?
The company's joining the network is shared with employees and the public by mutual agreement. The scope and timing of the announcement are determined together with the company.
Is it possible to leave the membership?
Yes. Membership is based on mutual intent rather than a contract. The company may withdraw from the process at any time.
Who runs the process?
The Care Equality Corporate Network is run by Özyeğin University in collaboration with TÜSİAD. The academic advisory support is built on the methodology of a national-scale study.
